Great questions. The simple answer is that we already have a membership at the NASA-NSN site. Ken and I are the current administrators.
We don't actively update our information on the site and focus efforts on our website and Facebook.
The goal of having membership at the NSN site is to publicize the LAS outside of the Louisville area. Of course, if we have a volunteer, we could certainly post more articles to the NSN site. We shouldn't attempt to post our schedule there, but publicizing special events and posting followup stories about our activities would be of value to the astro community.
