SATURDAY!!!! AUG. 1. Louisville Astronomical Society is having our first ever Telescope and Accessory SALE!!!! We have lots of used telescopes, eyepieces, mounts, tripods, adapters, filters....for bargain prices! Open to the public from 1-4PM. Please share this post! We want the event to be a success. We will be hosting it at our Urban Astronomy Center at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer Park in Eastern Jefferson County.

From Westport Road, take Freys Hill Road (turn toward the Thortons and the Canes)

Follow Freys Hill Road around to the second entrance to the Park.

Turn right into the Park and go to the end of the road.

The LAS is located in the long white building and we normally turn on a red light outside our door. We are the third door. If the weather cooperates you may park in the grass under the trees. If not, please park behind the building or over by the Archery Range and walk over.
On Google Maps enter "Urban Astronomy Center" and you'll get a map to the sale location.
