This is a public astronomy lecture series done by the U of L Professors at the  Monnick Bar 1036 E Burnett, Louisville 40217. Last month was the first lecture in this series and was given by Gerry Williger. This month the second lecture will be given by James Lauroesch and is entitled, "The Event Horizon Telescope"

Those under 18 are allowed in with parents/an adult.  Soft drinks and food are available, as Monnik is a full restaurant (not just a brew-pub).
