Rev. Hosea Nelson at Clay Street Baptist Church in Shelbyville is hosting an astronomy night family event. Steve Katsikas, LAS Board chair, will speak on stargazing for families and children and have equipment set up to view the sun and the night sky. Sunset will be 7:02 p.m. that night. Food and other activities will be provided for children by the church.
