Sun, January 20, 2019 3:22 PM | Ron Yates

After discussing the matter with el Presidente (aka, the reincarnation of Elvis), We have decided to open the UAC tonight (January 20, 2019) for the lunar eclipse. I will open the building at around 9:00 PM this evening for anyone who wants to set up their scopes out in front of the building only. We will open up the ranger room in front so people can come in and get warm since it has the best heat in the building. But ...the main part of the building that serves as our headquarters will also be open.

Dress warm.

UAC - The LAS Urban Astronomy Center (UAC) is located in the Root Cellar Building at the back of E.P.“Tom”Sawyer State Park on Freys Hill Road in Louisville,Kentucky. Take the second park entrance off of Freys Hill Road and go to the end of the road. We are the third door on the right. Parking is to the left.

See you there.
