Return to Normalcy at Curby, Part I

Fri, June 04, 2021 9:00 AM | Tom Hayes (Administrator)

We will be holding our first member night at Curby on Saturday June 5! Buildings will be open with limited stipulations. Please check with and follow Indiana COVID Recommendations as best as possible. Restrooms are open but be self-conscious of your use and clean up any mess, wash your hands, and minimize time in the multipurpose building as well as limit the number of people in the buildings at the same time.  The observatory will be open once again. We still ask that you bring your own telescope if possible but if you do not have one, please politely ask others there if they are OK to share views and respect the desire of the telescope owner if they are uncomfortable sharing at this time. We do ask that those with significant issues with groups using your telescope still consider distancing appropriately further off in the fields or the back field if you come.  Members should have received an email from James McEuin, LAS president, going into more detail about Curby policies.
