Welcome to the monthly meeting of the LAS! Note the change of venue for the meeting this month! We will meet at Strickler Hall instead of the UAC!!!

LAS Meeting at Cochran Auditorium in U of L Strickler Hall behind the Planetarium on the downtown campus. Our speaker tonight will be Dr. Benne Holwerda, PhD from the UL Physics Department. His topic will be  “Rubin’s Galaxy- A Gentle Giant”. Come out for the lecture and enjoy Great Hubble Shots!

For directions to the Planetarium follow the link below and look under Visit Us for a map. Park in the Red Lot behind the Music Building. Go into Strickler Hall and turn right at the end of the first hall.
