    • Sat, June 23, 2018
    • 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM
    • UAC - Urban Astronomy Center
The LAS welcomes anyone interested in astronomy to visit us at the Urban Astronomy Center (UAC) located in E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park for our monthly Star Party. Tonight we can observe the waxing gibbous Moon four days before it is full!!

Members may arrive early for set-up. If the ground is wet, we will set-up behind the building on the asphalt. Scope set-up is weather dependent. Our scopes are unable to penetrate the clouds and heavy moisture such as rain drops are bad for the electronics.
